U.S. Department of LaborOhio Bureau of Apprenticeship and TrainingApprentices can also choose to work on their associates degree in construction management or construction technology from Zane State College while attending the apprenticeship program.
Students who take part in an Electrical program at a Career Technical School may be eligible to have their high school education count for part of their classroom experience, shortening the apprenticeship to three years. We also work with Career Technical programs around the state to recruit qualifying juniors who are eligible for School-to-Apprenticeship programs that allow you to work on a job site during your senior year and apply that to your schooling.
All applicants are required to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks. Electrical experience is helpful but not necessary.
