CHALLENGES
The renovation of a busy working healthcare facility is challenging. Add a four-year project duration with a short time frame for initial phases and the challenges become compounded. Detailed discussions were required to ensure error-free operation of special systems, such as fire alarms, over five phases of work while installing a new system. Also, the BIM coordination for the project included modeling of existing systems prior to demolition.
OUTCOME
Claypool Electric added value through weekly meetings, six pricing updates, and extensive site investigation.
